SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (WINDOWS, SERVER)

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Ownership: Manage, configure, and ensure reliability of 1,000+ Server VMs, virtualization platforms (VMware), and associated systems.
• Project Leadership: Lead or co-lead critical infrastructure/cloud projects (AD upgrades, Exchange migrations, VDI enhancements, MDM rollouts) within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Compliance & Standards: Maintain production environments to meet financial industry regulations and internal policies.
• Operational Excellence:
  • Proactively monitor systems, resolve incidents, and minimize downtime.
  • Execute security patching and OS lifecycle management (EoL upgrades).
  • Develop and maintain procedural documentation and reports.
• Technology Implementation:
  • Upgrade/migrate core systems (Active Directory, Exchange, VDI).
  • Deploy and manage enterprise mobility solutions (MDM/MAM, e.g., AirWatch).
• Resilience Assurance: Design, implement, and validate HA, DR, and BCP strategies across all infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • Senior: 5+ years in system/infrastructure roles, preferably in financial services.
  • System Admin: 3+ years with core infrastructure skills.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Essential: VMware virtualization, Windows Server, AD, Exchange, Azure/M365, VDI (Horizon), MDM/MAM (AirWatch), security patching.
  • Critical: Proven HA/DR/BCP implementation and testing.
• Soft Skills:
  • Leadership in complex projects.
  • Proactive learner adaptable to fast-paced growth.
  • Collaborative team player with strong independent problem-solving.
• Language: Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin essential).
• Qualifications:
  • Degree in IT (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications a strong plus: MCSE, Azure, M365, VCP, NetApp.
