Proactively identify and engage with new potential merchant partners to understand their goals and provide tailored solutions
Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients
Manage full sales cycle from acquiring & managing partnerships and merchants, including prospecting, meetings, contracting, integration enrure a high conversion rate
Stay up to date with the latest payment industry trends, regulations, and products to provide accurate and informed advice
Recruit merchants through direct approach and/or channel partners and/or webinars/seminars
Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management
Work closely with different departments to deliver client projects
Requirements:
University degree in Business or related discipline
At least 5 years’ experience in business development focus on payment, FinTech, or acquiring merchant services
Existing relationships / strong network with referral partners in large enterprise, education, events and other verticals are highly preferable
Experience in strategy/ops or working in FinTech or Payment would be advantageous
Sales-driven, independent, ambitious, able to work in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and provide suitable solutions
Ability to act in a consultative role, providing valuable insights and guidance to clients
Great written and communication skills in both Chinese & English
Good numerical and strong analytical skills with experience with Excel, PowerPoint
