NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR, 1 YEAR RENEWABLE CONTRACT

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain the core enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Provide technical oversight and support for a complex multi-site WAN, including planning for expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Configure, manage, and support key network devices including firewalls (policy management), routers, switches, VPNs (IPsec & SSL), and WAN circuits.
• Proactively monitor network performance and availability using advanced tools, implementing timely remedial actions to minimize impact.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure all network changes follow strict company change management and compliance procedures.
• Provide expert-level infrastructure support and generate relevant reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proven hands-on experience in a Network Administrator role, preferably within the financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Strong technical expertise in configuring and managing:
  • Firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto (policy setup, maintenance).
  • Switching & Routing: Cisco platforms (VLAN provisioning, routing protocols).
  • Network Protocols: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, spanning-tree, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • VPN Technologies: IPsec and SSL VPN.
• Experience with WAN circuit management and network monitoring tools.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a strong team player, with a passion for sharing knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to best practices in network administration.

Highly Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers, Imperva, and VOIP systems.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, PCNSE, NSE).
• Experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure projects.
