LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR, FSI

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, configure, and provide reliable support for enterprise systems, servers, and virtualization environments in alignment with corporate standards and procedures.
• Monitor server performance and take corrective actions to minimize service impact.
• Perform system patching, apply security updates, and manage OS end-of-life upgrades.
• Deliver infrastructure support including procedural documentation and operational reports.
• Ensure all systems and servers comply with the company’s high-availability (HA) protection and backup strategies.
• Support infrastructure-related and business projects, ensuring requirements are met on time.
• Participate in enterprise automation and containerization initiatives.
• Install, configure, and maintain container platforms such as Docker, Podman, and OpenShift.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline preferred.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Red Hat, CentOS, or similar Linux distributions.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration, including best practices in configuration, management, and monitoring.
• Open-minded, proactive, and collaborative, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Able to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in the Financial Services Industry (FSI) is an advantage.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Linux Administrator position.
• On-the-job training and professional workshops will be provided to help new team members adapt to the company environment.
